I had my most recent claim denied after 18 months of waiting around, occasionally sending more 4138s in when requested. The claim was for PTSD and the total claim was 142 pages long that included an official diagnosis and all my therapist's notes as well as a comprehensive, detailed account of all the traumatic events. Basically, I filed a claim immediately after I got out for my left knee and tinnitus, and figured that was that. They were approved and I just assumed everything was gravy and left the va stuff alone.

Very thankful today. VA approved my increase from 30-70% w/TDIU option (probably didn't explain that TDIU correct) - so numbing. It's huge to finally get the number to somewhat match the rating % after such a long time. There's a bit of hope in not having to worry about working as much when shit gets crazy and I want to choke a neighbor, or finally knowing I can dedicate more time to therapy... |
So what exactly does a Paid Nexus Letter provide you? Isn’t this illegal? Not hating, just curious

Was hoping you could help me determine what my rating might be for Chronic Sinusitis. New to the VA and submitted my papers last month. Served in Iraq in 2009 so covered by PACT Act.

DBQ Examination prior to C&P exam

Is not a VA examiner required to review any evidence including prior submitted or privately submitted DBQs prior to seeing us in a C&P exam? Pretty sure it is mentioned in M21.1 regulations. Looking to see what everyone else's experience has been. Thanks.
