Has anyone used a company or law firm to help with the process of increasing disability rating?

Facebook loves to throw out ads for companies and law firms that can help with the process of getting VA disability rating increased. However I’m a little pessimistic (I like to think I’m a realist), and know most of these companies are scams and con artists. I’m wondering if anyone has actually used a company or law firm to help in the process of getting an increase and actually had any luck? I’m...
Can I get on Beale AFB with my VHIC?

I hope this appropriate here. I’m coming on my reevaluation for my med board. I’ve been in contact with a TDRL section chief, branch chief and a wounded warrior representative. I was previously told that getting my VHIC to access the base was enough, but now they’re insisting I go to and get my temporary retired ID. It would not be a big deal, but I have anxiety attacks when I even think about...

Where do I go to speak with a judge after I wait for 2 years to do so in person?

D.C. or do BVA judges still "ride the circuit" or, in contemporary legal vernacular, "traveling boards." 🤔. I refuse to have such a proceeding via videoconferencing. And is it just one judge or a panel of them en banc? BVA and CAVC. I know the Supreme Court is 9.

Can anyone recommend a psychiatrist in Germany or one who can work a DBQ remotely?

I am in the process of claiming an increase for my PTSD and am looking to establish a private DBQ in addition to all my other supporting documents.
My issue is amongst the psychiatrists that im able to locate online, they all require some form of in person meeting in the process (even when the actual medical appointment itself is already done virtually).
I am in Germany so a lot of these CONUS...

Static and new claims
Posted on
Hi everyone,
I’m currently rated 60% and all of my disabilities are static according to the code sheet.
I keep finding conflicting information so I’m hoping for some clarification.
As an example, if I’m rated 50% for MH- Static, and I submit a new claim for something unrelated such as a foot or an elbow, does that give the VA the ability to reopen my MH rating?
Thank you everyone and take care.
