Migraine secondary to Sleep apnea
Posted on
How can I get my migraine connected to sleep apnea. I have 50 % for sleep apnea. However I get bad migraines usually whenever I have a shitty sleep. Migraines last 1 or 2 days. I don’t have migraines in my service record. But I’m wondering if it’s possible to connect it to sleep apnea?

No c&p for migraines secondary to unspecified anxiety disorder
Posted on
I recently claimed migraines and OSA secondary to unspecified anxiety disorder. I filed may 11 2022 and went into PFD last week. I had an c&p and sleep study and was diagnosed with moderate OSA. Also I’m within one year of separation. Im 91% currently. I think migraines are presumptive. Is that a bad thing I had no c&p? Likely to get awarded for OSA and migraines? Or neither? Or not migraines...
Ratings adding up to 95% but only rated at 90.

Hello all, my husband's claim was just completed. He has the ratings of 70, 50, 30, 20, 10, 10, 10. Every time we put it in the calculations it comes up to 95 yet he was only rated at 90. Has this happened to anyone and is this something that has to go to an HLR?

VR&E situation…

My counselor has been ghosting me for a month now and it seems like their entire office is completely careless and worthless. I’m about to call the White House tmr. Im almost done with my BS degree and about to apply for medical schools this fall. My question is can they possibly end my VR&E benefits and not pay for my grad school just to retaliate? Also, if I take a year off will they cut me off...
Applying for Financial Hardship, VA form 5655, any insight?
Posted on
Since, like everyone else, am forced to wait on my claims to be processed, that leaves us SOL in regards to being able to financially sustain ourselves/families (due to unemployability). Has anyone applied or submitted this VA FORM 5655 to their local VA center? Going to take mine in this Friday, just wondering if this would be able to help me.

Ways to maximize benefits (suggestions welcome!)

Hey guys I’m looking to see if there are ways to maximize the currents benefits we receive at all levels. Downsides for them a well appreciated as well. For example… I’ll add more as I find more ways to assist. Money isn’t the cure for everything but it sure as heck helps alleviate a lot of stress.

Will getting diagnosed with autism affect my disability?

I am currently rated for bipolar disorder that was brought out and significantly worsened by the military environment and prescribed opioids. Lately, my civilian therapist has brought up the possibility that I might have Autism. My bipolar has recently stabilized through meds and therapy. However, I continue to have significant social problems. I want to know whether it might be Autism but I don't...
