Hey guys I’m looking to see if there are ways to maximize the currents benefits we receive at all levels. Downsides for them a well appreciated as well. For example… I’ll add more as I find more ways to assist. Money isn’t the cure for everything but it sure as heck helps alleviate a lot of stress.

-Using the VA loan to buy up to a 4 plex and have others live in the home while you live in one of the spaces for a year and you’ve began house hacking and rinse and repeat for “infinite” properties. Of course use debt with caution . For many states veterans with certain percentages of disabilities also knock off some of if not all the property taxes for your primary residence

-VRE+GI bill can get you up to 7 years of schooling not to mention many states offer free and discounted schooling for veterans and dependents.

-When transitioning out, many veterans can file for unemployment (UCX) for up to a year and combined with their GI bill they can save some money and have time to adjust to their school schedules.
