PSA: Erectile Dysfunction [ED]
Posted on
In case anyone hasn't told you today, ED isn't just for the 'pushing rope' issues. If you're like me, some medications you're prescribed can have some odd side effects. For example: inability to climax, loss of sensation during sex, etc. This counts as a claim for ED. For years I thought the ED claim was just for inability to get it up. I had a fantastic doctor who pointed this out because I was...
Does anyone have any experience using the VA DEA education benefit? Can it only be used once? Or can each child I have use it as well?

PTSD C&P EXAM
Posted on
I have recently submitted a claim for PTSD and it is currently in evaluations and review. This is my first claim so I am new to all of this. I received a call this morning to schedule a C&P exam. What should I expect? My feeling is that is just going to be somebody that is going to try and disprove my symptoms and sway the conversation to make it seem like im ok. If everything goes well, how long...

CAR vs CUE?
Posted on
Has anybody on here ever done a CAR (claim accuracy request) after a denial? I don’t wanna jump the gun and do a CUE until after my appeal would be done but I’m wondering if anyone has had any luck with the CAR or how that process goes. Thanks!

Anyone have dental claim experience?

I was given service connection for Bruxism but the VA doesn’t rate it. Receiving advise now to file for TMD/TMJ as the VA sees them relatively the same but will rate TMJ/TMD. Anyone have experience with this and agree on that plan of action? Thanks

So, I can make secondary claims to all of my services connected disabilities?

10% tinnitus - I’m currently getting treated for vertigo which I think has correlation to tinnitus I haven’t made a claim yet though for vertigo.
30% Crohn’s disease- My Crohn’s seems to be not getting worse or better. I’m wondering how to go about a secondary claim for my Crohn’s I know it correlates with stress discomfort worry and it scares me sometimes.
I have just started to realize that I...
Burn pit and new law

Trying to figure out the best way to approach this. I filed an intent on December 2018 for rhinitis and sinusitis. It was denied. In 2021 I reopened my claim because they added those conditions to the presumptive list and I served in Afghanistan. It was still denied. Now the new law is passing and I wonder if I should reopen my claim again. If so, what date would it likely get back dated to? I am...
Elbow range of motion question.

Elbow range of motion question. A little confused with the exception. Do you get the range of motion rating and also the “EXCEPTION”?
However, if the Veteran can only straighten their arm to 45° AND only bend their arm to 100° then they will receive a 20% rating. This 20% rating is the same for the dominant or non-dominant arm.

I'm sitting at 70% disability rating. Per the VA disability pay scale, Each additional child over age 18 in a qualifying school program affords an extra $208.00. What form do I use, and where do I file that? VA site not clear. Thanks.
