If you’ve gone through a divorce and have issues develop from that, is that service connected?

My assumption is that it’s more personal than what would be considered connected.

Dependent Retro Pay
Posted on
Is it possible to receive back pay from when your child is born?
Child born in October of 21’ and just now adding to my dependents (I know I should have added sooner, but life gets in the way)
Dependent claim was approved same day and see the added pay pending to my monthly but not any back pay if there is any.
Thanks in advance.

Claim (long post..kinda) ⚠️
Posted on
Okay you all, I have an ongoing appeal through a VA attorney for 100% TDIU I’m currently 80% (70% for chronic adjustment disorder, 10% asthma) I have a rating for flat feet @ 30%, but it wasn’t awarded to me, because I was issued insoles before I was discharged in 2020…..I let it go, but my feet have gotten so much worse. Should I file a claim for an increase now? Or wait until after this appeal?...
Pending Decision Approval

I have been in the pending decisions approval phase for about 4 months now. I have called many times and I get told the same thing. They say I’ll get the letter in the mail when claim is completed. Is this normal? If so, did you have a positive or negative outcome?

Insomnia & CFS: Pyramiding?
Posted on
Just wondering if you can receive separate ratings for insomnia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It seems like a rater could go either way on pyramiding since they are similar, but medically different. Any thoughts?

Moral Injury Claim Experiences
Posted on
Has anyone here ever claimed for moral injury either separate or in conjunction with a PTSD claim? Reading information on the VA website about Moral Injury it 100% applies to me. Would I have to file it separately? I already have a supplemental for PTSD that I have an upcoming C&P for. Should I mention it then as part of the supplemental or start another claim for moral injury on its own?

Challenge the C&P or let it ride?

BDD claim in progress, retiring in October 1st. Just reviewed all C&P exam notes in Tricare online and there were some omissions from the examiner such as forgetting to check boxes for pain during exam, not correctly documenting a systemic medication vs a topical ointment, etc. Just wondering if I can address them to the VA by uploading documents on my own or would that delay my claim? Thanks for...
Denied relief from Naval Discharge Review Board
Posted on
Long story short, I would like to thank the members of this sub for directing me to the Naval Discharge Review Board again, citing the liberal consideration they’re now to provide to veterans with a service connected PTSD diagnosis. I appreciate you all educating me on this.
Unfortunately, the consideration for relief is not at all “liberal”. They acknowledged that I have a service connected PTSD...
