I was given 20% and requested a formal hearing which is now scheduled for early August, does anyone have advice to help me prepare for the interview?

My proposed VA rating is 100%. I requested the formal hearing on advice from my IDES attorney who said she feels very confident that I'll get a higher rating.

P&T success story 80% total rating but receiving P&T 100 disability at 23 yo.

I can’t believe I am even typing this. I’ve always read other posts and tried to soak up as much knowledges as I could. I am a 23 yo who went from 60% to now 100% P&T due to Major Depression Disorder with anxiety and Chest Pain. I am here to inform you all that if you are having ANY type of chronic chest pain, to get it seen by your provider and documented! I started having chest pain about 1 year...
Appeal

Just received my decision with a ton of “Not service connected”, 0% and 10%.
Everything was completely documented by medics, witnesses, private docs and VA. Is the rater not reading the docs?
How do I move forward in appeal, is this something that is done on your own or do you find a lawyer?

VES contractor exam for OSA missed details.

Got a heads up from my VSO that the IMO provided by Dr. Bernard Giorgio from VES was kicked backed by the VA due to errors (him reading the wrong nexus letter) and when he resubmitted it, he failed to review my STRs (wrote no complaints in service, while there is clear record of complaints). I don’t mean to name and shame, but I am curious if anyone else has been “helped” by this joker.
C&P exam question

Hi everyone, I put in a claim last year to add other conditions that were made worse from my service connected conditions in August. I went to the C&P exam and by September I had a decision for 100% P&T. I was recently checking my ebenefits website and saw I had a message that said I may be eligible for SAH. I looked up the requirements and felt like I was borderline qualified or maybe I read it...
Are there any women in here who have had breast implant removal surgery and get it covered by the VA?

I know typically the surgery is only covered if the initial implant surgery was for something service connected, and there needs to be a legitimate reason removal. But then I read somewhere about “exclusions” such as removal for the presence of autoimmune or connective tissue disorders. I have wondered if any of my autoimmune type of symptoms could be caused or made worse by my breast implants. I...
The VA strikes back!!!

So I read that if you submit a claim and then another one, they combine as one. My question is that if I submit 2 claims a day apart the 2nd being an intent to file. Does the time get erased from that intent to file start date even if I submitted it a...

Is it possible to get an increase with out a C&P exam?
Posted on
I’m wondering if it possible to get an increase with out a C&P? My service connected condition has gotten significantly worse and it’s all documented in my Va medical record. I have applied for an increase and I’m hoping maybe I won’t need a C&P. Has anyone ever gotten a increase with out the C&P exam.
