They’ve had my completed claims packet since early April and I keep calling to get an update. Every time I call they just tell me that I’ve been assigned a rating specialist but they haven’t had time to look at my file. Due to Covid rules they don’t have a required timeframe and idk what else I can do? Any advice? Does reaching out to a congressional representative make a difference?

I just found out I was approved for 20% (was 0% before) however the letter shows an effective date of December 01 2021. I checked my own notes and am sure I filed this claim with an intent to file I started in June 2021.

Why would the letter show a different date? Any way I can get this fixed?
