I just found out I was approved for 20% (was 0% before) however the letter shows an effective date of December 01 2021. I checked my own notes and am sure I filed this claim with an intent to file I started in June 2021.

Why would the letter show a different date? Any way I can get this fixed?

I closed on a VA mortgage in late November 2021 so this date is just outside of where I need it to request a refund on the mortgage funding fee. And of course back pay. Thanks
