We're really are F****d up

I've discovered this great community by accident while looking for a quality IMO that's speaks the VA's language and I'm glad I did. I know we are all here to share our experiences and learn from everyones wins, denial or simply vent our frustrations. I see we are trying to get the help we need but mostly the compensation we deserve by pleadings our individual cases to the VA.
I know we all want...
Thank you.

Never thought it would happen, nor did I think it would happen so quick. This reddit is the best resource I found for claims hands down. Was shooting for TIDU but to my surprise I got it naturally. [link] [comments] |
Wife asking on behalf of husband
Posted on
Hey everyone a few months ago I had posted on behalf of my husband who wanted to attempt to go from 90% to 100% because of his symptoms worsening due to his TBI. In the midst of his intended attempt his father was murdered so it’s just been a whirlwind of trauma and struggle for our family recently. Last week my husband went to a doctor who is not affiliated with the VA but was in the service also...
Finally got a eater assigned to my claim… now what?

As many of you guys here, I submitted my claim over 10 months ago and the process has been dragging along, wether it’s been from the marine corps dragging their feet on sending my STR or C&P examiners taking forever to send the VA their reports. But I called today and we have finally gotten all the reports sent over to the VA and a rater has been assigned to the claim.
My question is, how long...
Anybody else delete the VA app for a little peace of mind?

As the title says, anyone else delete the app to keep from obssesively checking your claim status? I started off checking it twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening. I cut back to once a day. Now im thinking about deleting the app all together, i cant keep starting my day with disappointment. The app is not good for my anxiety. Its hard not to with all that im dealing with but...
Why would VA altogether deny my claim for plantar fasciitis while awarding 0% for the massive heel spur it caused?

I just got my letter from the VA yesterday. I'm at 90% combined. For some reason they denied my plantar fasciitis even though I have documentation/diagnosis from a podiatrist and prescription orthotics from Walter Reed. I don't understand. Its it worth appealing?

New to the 100 P&T Club, had some questions that I haven’t found straight answers too

In the past 8 years I’ve worked my way up to 100 P&T which has changed everything for us. By us, I mean myself and my partner of the past 10 years. We’ve been unmarried all this time due to waiting for us to get our careers and education straightened out first…but as you can imagine, having enough disabilities to warrant 100 P&T has made me take quite some time to do that. She’s graduated from...
Just got rated for 70%!! Unreal!

I was just minding my own business today, I’m in college and have a handful of minor issues with joints and things like that. The main claim I’ve been trying to get compensation for since I got out in 2021 was for insomnia. I was able to get it service connected back in 2022 but got 0% for it, which I wasn’t happy with at first, but was happy about the service connection.
Fast forward to this past...
