I was at 90% claim for MH came back approved for 30% which still leaves me at 90%. I have all the conditions to be at least 50% for MH. Should I go HLR ?

Ebenefits shows that my decision is pending but I have a C&P exam on Monday. Has anyone has this happen? If so, will they make a rating on what is recieved and review the rest after they receive the other exam.

Hello,

I am currently 90% and I turn 55 this month. I am 70% for mental health, I was having problems at work due to MH. I was on FMLA and then working 4 days a week. The Psychiatrist said that I needed to manage on my own, which caused me to struggle at work. I resigned from the Federal Government.
If I apply from unemployment ability could they turn around and take everything from me? This is my only...
How long does a claim through DAV take?
Posted on
I submitted my claim through the DAV about three weeks ago. They said they had to mail my files to their regional HQ to be audited and from there it’s submitted to the VA. I haven’t seen anything showing on the VA site so just wondering how long g I should wait before asking the status. Thanks everyone.

Starting the separation process…this sub has me wondering what I don’t know…what am I in for?

For starters, I’ve already taken TAPS, but when I read things like C&P and VA MH…I’m lost.

What does a separation physical entail? How is that physical different from the VA claim? Is the separation physical...
Helpless child benefit question

I am a disabled veteran that's 100 P and T. I recently signed papers to become the legal guardian of my brother who has mental retardation and autism. I'm wondering if I qualify for the helpless child benefit because I'm his legal guardian now. From what I'm understanding, in order for a veteran to receive a helpless child benefit, there has to be medical evidence that the child was disabled prior...
Need Opinions - Should I Withdraw this contention after granted P&T?

So I was granted 100% P&T Tuesday.
I had an HLR already filed which was being developed for depression/anxiety.
I’m already rated 70% for PTSD.
I had a C&P last Friday for the HLR which was turned over to the VA yesterday (tracking on LHI website). The guy said he was going to keep me at 70% for mental health. I guess he knows what to put on DBQ for the 70%.
Should I withdraw the contention of...

Does anyone know if the VA considers a artificial Sphincter an appliance. It’s not clear in the CFRs it just says appliance Which is allotted 60% rating. I would think it is because without it there would be several outstanding issues from residual prostrate surgery.
