New here - possible MST claim

Hi, all. Where to start? This is the first time I’ve actually spoken about this, so forgive me as I try to summarize what I’ve bottled for decades.
I signed a contract with the Army back in 1986 or 1987. I was still in high school (age 16 or 17?) and was signed under the DEP (Delayed Entry Program). I was a smart student with good grades and a knack for languages, so I was going to be a linguist...
Hypertrophy of the tonsils diagnosed at presumptive sinusitis C&P exam

Hey guys. So ever since getting back from my first deployment, my tonsils randomly got really swollen when I got sick, and never got any better. It’s worse now I feel because of the near constant post nasal drip. If they feel that this is something caused by burn pits, or secondary to sinusitis (if I get rated), is that even something I could get rated for? I feel like I’ve seen some people get...

Anyway, I eventually did end up making a mistake and was removed from my...
Question about CPAP

I'm getting super paranoid. My claim has been in the works since Jan. '22. My last C&P exam was last month for sleep apnea. The results specifically say I have "severe sleep apnea" and my sleep efficiency is 66.2% However, I was not issued a CPAP. Everyone seems to believe that a CPAP guarantees a good rating/service-connection. I contacted the VA and requested a CPAP based on the findings but...
Wild Ride with the VA

In 2019 I was being re-rated for an increase related to my lower back. In the process, my respiratory issues were re-evaluated for whatever reason. Guy who did the C&P exam for the reparatory issues didn't write anything that I said during the appointment and just kinda wrote down whatever. This led to a proposed decrees from 30% to 10%, which of course I appealed. Two years later I have a C&P...

To my fellow Veterans, many of you are not done with the fight. Many of you are not 100%. To my fellow Veterans that aren't, here's some info for you.
You take a look at your disabilities that you are service connected for. You then go to the Master Conditions List that u/l8tn8 created. (Shout out to u/l8tn8for doing all that he has done for this sub.) You look up those disabilities that you're...
