I can’t believe I am even typing this. I’ve always read other posts and tried to soak up as much knowledges as I could. I am a 23 yo who went from 60% to now 100% P&T due to Major Depression Disorder with anxiety and Chest Pain. I am here to inform you all that if you are having ANY type of chronic chest pain, to get it seen by your provider and documented! I started having chest pain about 1 year after I got out. I had almost every test done (ekg, stress test, chest X-ray), and my provider couldn’t figure out what it is till this day. I have chest pain with any kind of movement (bending, stretching) I can’t exercise due to the pain, or be in any stressful situation because it triggers symptoms. It constantly feels like I have pressure in my chest. My provider diagnosed me with chronic chest pain and palpitations and wrote very good detailed letters in regards to the symptoms and how it effects my daily living. I submitted it to the VA along with my claim, and the VA invited me to apply for TIDU. I applied back in November, and just now awarded. Take chest pain seriously! It could be a manifestation from anxiety. I had no idea the VA even recognized chest pain manifesting from anxiety. Don’t stop getting seen by your provider, have that paper trail! Keep pushing! Thank you all for the help!
