Long story short, I’m in a unique position where I can choose who my senior rater is - either an O6 or O7. Everyone’s telling me the O7 is a no brainer, but I’ve never met him (me being a 1LT). Any thoughts?

I just got a brand new fresh out of the box M2 50 cal machine gun. We are out at gunnery and does any own know if there are issues i need to be aware of? A break in period or anything like that?

I’m interested in cold bagging in the snow/sleeping out in the snow with no tent in California in the future. How can you prevent frostbite if your nose is exposed or do you just keep it covered and have your face breathing out in the open?
