I was denied MST claim in 2017 because the dr said I didn’t have PTSD. She diagnosed personality disorder instead. I have a lawyer and I understand why I have a FOIA filing back in March. But randomly another one was filed in July. My lawyer said everything is normal and not to worry. Have you guys experienced anything like this? I hope I don’t have to wait double now. [link] [comments] |

Been utilizing VR&E benefits for a bit now, and am merely 2 semesters from graduating with my Bachelor's. Every gap between semesters I find myself more and more broke... everything is more expensive and this semester I'm in the negative.
School is all paid for, but food/housing/car payment have wrenched out every last penny and I don't get any grant money until October. I can't get a loan because...

I recently received my decision back, called the VA to have my summary fixed (first one said unknown for character of discharge and date of discharge). But the revised letter now says “Are you entitled to a higher level of disability due to i employability? Yes”. Does this mean I am TDIU? Or just that I qualify to apply? Reading on this page a lot knees seem to be something that the va downplays a lot. You can get three different ratings for knees and that should be a huge collection for your overall rating. So after not seeing the VA for over a year because I live 2+ hours from a VA clinic, I finally went. Took a day off of work and made the 4 hour round trip.
