Have alot of us been suckered?

Am I the only Veteran who feels that back pay should have gone all the way back to EOE? Now I am left feeling suckered yet worried to say anything as I'd hate to cause the very hand that feeds me to smack me down. I heard of a landmark case that was going on where it might change things for us all. Any thoughts?

Buddy statement question

I am getting a buddy statement to link TBI to service connection. I had 2 but only one where I can still find someone actually able to write a statement.
The statement is only able to be fairly basic. For example she only heard from my unit I was in a MVA and she noted I was disoriented, confused, and was ‘off’. She also remembered I was taken to the CTAS which I don’t even remember.

But, I get really bitter when I see these posts of people who just retired, chattered out etc and they have their decisions in just mere weeks. I’m about to be homeless. So close to quitting my job. Family with young kids who need me. I’ve been waiting on my claim that’s been PFD since March. I’m happy but I also fucking hate everyone posting about their super quick turnaround 100%.

I put in a few claims (MH, muscular skeletal, hearing) and got a call 3 days ago for only the tinnitus claim. Is a bit odd that they only called for that and not the others? I know I need C&P exams for the other ones as well.

A VA rep noted in my exam results that "medical opinion supports Service Connection" does that basically mean I'll be approved? for MH

Also, he's just waiting for a rater and apparently they're not a station not actually working on those old blue navy/brown navy cases. Is it true they will prioritize claims that are "ready for decision" at the end of the month for quota reasons? The rep mentioned he'll mention it to his ratings team or the supervisors of said rating team because it's ready and it can potentially be looked at...

It looks pretty easy to not qualify for... any GI Bill left they could deny, if you are eligible for VR&E (we have all heard what a crapshoot that is) they could deny, etc. I am not convinced this will help anyone.
Thoughts?
