My experiences with CAG guys
Posted on
So, I saw the “Mystery High Speed Dude” post and it reminded me of some of my experiences working with CAG guys way back when, so I felt like writing some of them up for my Army “diary.” Might as well share.
I was an 11B in the 82nd, nothing special, but I was lucky enough to be on the right deployment in 2005 when two companies from my battalion got peeled off and assigned to the JSOTF hunting...

Going to NTC

I just want to rant really lol.
Well here I am. 0400 and I’m in line waiting to go to NTC. I was told I’m going to white cell so I’d assume that’s no so bad. I am also getting chaptered out of the army due to patterns of misconduct (to make it simple) and I was supposed to be out the 1st of this month. Everything was running smoothly during my process, I was applying to schools and other civilian...
Monday Rants and Raves - Labor Day DONSA DASH Edition

Good morning hooligans, let's start the week off right and recognize the ebb and flow of life as we prepare to be recognized for our hard labor under big green. You know the rules of the game, so don't disappoint the last standing FGO deployed to Gorgas while I await redeployment.
Rant - I have been trapped in Gorgas for 24 days with minimal purpose aside from baby sitting an O-4 and unclustering...

We ask that you do some research on your own, as joining the Army is a big...
Late Night Confession (always have a good battle buddy!)

One time in Group we did a 15 mile ruck. I forgot to use any of my Body Glide or Anti Monkey Butt powder.
I did fine on the ruck but my asshole was absolutely DESTROYED. It legitimately felt like it ripped down the seam. It was incredibly chaffed and it hurt every second. Every time I stood up, it was like Lucifer was spreading my ass cheeks for my next anal pounding. When I sat down, it was like...

Hi All,
I'm a 7 year army infantry vet(yay 25th! Jk ew), went to college during and after my service, got my degree in mathematics, and now I'm a data scientist working for one of your favorite drink companies you probably see commercials of on NFL Sundays. The technical capabilities of my role involve a healthy mix of coding, building statistical models, querying/studying data, excel etc etc.

Deployment patch
Posted on
Do you have to wear your deployment patch? Don’t care about getting ribbed on by coworkers but I think it’s kinda gay to wear a combat patch for a peacetime deployment. Is there any policy that says you must display it or can I just rock a slick sleeve
