Bottom line up front: I live in a region that is one of the most densely populated with public colleges in the nation.
The proportion of student reservists and veterans at some of these schools is surprisingly high.
And yet, not a single one of these schools has a certifying official / VRC finance admin that knows how to process Federal Tuition Assistance properly. Nobody in school admin or...

Long story short, my dad committed suicide in 2021. That brought out mean drinking streak, got a DUI, did the breathalyzer, I’m sitting on a PBJ now. I also realized that, shocker, I’ve got a drinking problem, did a lot to work on that, have had a therapist for 2 years now, successfully ran my first 10k & a 10miler. Since my dad left I’ve been wanting to do all the things in life I missed out on....

Just reached out to my HOA asking for a temporary reduction in fees while my house will be vacant during deployment. They basically said fuck off. Is there anything under the SCRA that I could use to justify not paying or at least only paying some of my dues?

choosing an MOS

so Im 20 and want to join a branch (between airfare or navy for the quality of life) but I'm having a hard time deciding which MOS I should choose. my major plan was IT but my eyes are starting to start getting really strained looking at screens, my second and now MAIN option is trucking as I love driving, and aviation as I want to learn how to fly planes. my main reason I want to join is
