I bought this picture from an antique shop cause I thought it was badass! I was wondering if anyone here could gather any information from this picture from his insignia/gear? Based off his shoulder patch I gather he was in the 11th armored cavalry brigade, but I'm not sure. The writing says:

"To Mr. Robert Long- with kind regards. J.S. (can't make out the last name, Clint maybe?). BG U.S.A
