Won appeal from 2017
Posted on
I won an appeal for sleep apnea which I originally submitted in January 2017. It’s been a long, hard fight but was wondering if anyone has recently had this happen as well? It says 1-2 months for rating change (hoping for the 100 I’ve been fighting for since 2011) but I don’t know any details beyond the message above in the VA app. Any idea how long this will take? If it gets me to 100 (which I think it will) I can add my family to champ va and my wife is pregnant. Due in 4.5 weeks. We have insurance but I’m wondering if this is cutting it too close to add her since it would help cut down bills even more. For anyone wondering - this appeal is for sleep apnea. Also with use of machine. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say who but I did get help. I tried fighting on my own for years and finally said F it bc I couldn’t do it on my own. Got a nexus letter from a guy named Fred Nolan like 18 months ago and hired a patient advocate as well and they helped get this pushed through. If I’m allowed to say who the advocate is lmk and I’ll add in comments. [link] [comments] |
