Probably not VA related but I'll start here. Tired of sitting on hold with DFAS My dad (LTC) passed in February, with my Mom as SBP beneficiary. SBP and arrears have not been paid yet. Here's the hook, my Mom died 26 June without ever seeing it. It's only four months of SBP that she would have received but is that still paid to her "estate"? My brothers and I don't care about the money but after a 28 year career myself I can see the whole scenario twisting around so that DFAS is owed 10K for some reason. Thanks for any help.
