Anyone have information on claiming a muscular skeletal issue after being discharged for a while? It’s been 8 years for me. I was one of those that never went to medical for anything and “sucked it up”. 8 years later, my wife forced me to get checked and I still have the same issues (shoulders, back, elbows, neck) that I did in service. Since I didn’t go to medical or get treatment until recently, I turned in those current diagnosis, a nexus linking everything to an event in service, and have buddy statements from another I served with and friends who I confided in going through the issues. Any advice?
