I used to think some of the posts were dramatic when they’d say it took them “x” number of YEARS “but I finally made it.” I’m a year and a half in on the whole process; my initial claim probably took 8 months and after some time I filed my appeal which has been sitting with ZERO movement since July 23rd. I know this is just a blink of time for many of you but man…I guess I finally understand.

I’m guessing my appeal will take at least another 6 months. If I need any other appeals or adjustments I’m guessing another 12-18 months.
