So I just found out that because my DD 214 was wrong I only got 50% GI bill. I got out quick nothing was explained to so I was dumb and used 30 months of my GI bill on 50%. Now that I have proof took a while to get that my narrative should say disability not non-disability I filed a dd293 to get the narrative fixed. Is there a way to get the money (the other 50% if tuition) that I paid out of pocket for as well as the other 50% of BAH I lost back from the VA? Has anyone successfully gotten lost GI Bill money back?
