I am active duty and I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and was prescribed the CPAP machine. I did the sleep study with a private doctor based on military referral. I am getting close to the time to file my VA claim, but I still haven’t received my CPAP machine after a 2 month wait. The diagnosis and CPAP prescription is in my record. Can I file a claim before receiving the CPAP or do I need to wait for the CPAP before filling the claim?
