Only I got in 1 firefight during my tour to Iraq (infantry 07-08) but I feel as though the whole tour gave me PTSD. The constant standing of post, foot patrols, always being on guard and staying vigilant. Finding caches that were supposed to be used on us, but found first. Waking up all of a sudden and rushing to throw gear on/never really sleeping fully (if that makes sense). I feel as though it wasn’t just a single event, but the entire time in country.

Also, does burning shit count towards the PACT Act? I did that a lot. Mainly because the higher ups wouldn’t fuck with a man burning shit.
