I’m still going through the process of my first time filing after getting out. One of my claims was for MSPTSD, an event that occurred while in my last duty station. I was just granted 50% for depression/anxiety, denied for PTSD and denied for my MSPSTD. I’m pissed. What can I do about MSTPSD ? that’s the only one I’m interested in getting service connected at least. The woman that did my exam was a total you know what.. I had my father nearby (he’s also a veteran and had worked for the VA before) and he even said based on what he heard she wasn’t even letting me talk.. which she really didn’t. Any time I tried to explain, she’d say something like ok but did you REALLY feel like x y or x ? Super annoying. But how should I go about this ? Should I wait until receiving the final rating so that my claim is completely done or should I submit an appeal or higher level review now ? I’m not sure what the best route to go is. Any advice is appreciated thank you.
