Currently active duty- getting tired of avoiding MEB
Posted on
I've been in 9 years. I have had a hip arthroscopy on one hip and now it's being recommended for the other with the possibility of double hip replacement and I’m only 30. My back is constantly lit up and most mornings it's a struggle to get my boots on. Every time I go to the doc I talk about my issues but make it very clear I am not trying to get MEB and ill do whatever to avoid it. Well, it's starting to really chip away at me.
I'm not sure what I except posting on here; I suppose it's part venting and part looking for advice. Like I said, Ive been in 9 years, my back and hips are really my only problems other than undiagnosed tinnitus. I don't want to make it to 10 years only to get medically separated or even retired and still have to work a good paying full time job to support my family.
