Would it not make more sense to shave after pt, when youre going to shower and hygiene etc.?

Leaving the Army, recall being briefed on "fixing your resume" or "job hunting", but not for the realities of transition out. Even with a game plan, degrees, security clearances and being ranked up, it was still tough landing the first job and eventually ending up in a career you want. Maybe the Army fixed transition and are willing to be corrected. Thoughts?

One of the NCOs at my unit enlisted in the late 90’s and he was saying how this was a “good thing” and people weren’t “really kicked out.” It allowed the Army to focus on the mission and not the “other bs.”

I already know he’s a friggin idiot but for those of y’all who were around during that time, what was it like? And once it was repealed, was anyone allowed to reenlist?

I brought my MILES with me in the ruck to the OSV (It's like a Bradley). NCO tells me to get it out of the ruck. I proceed to get my MILES from the nose cone, I get told to get my laser out of my MILES and put it on my weapon. I leave my miles on the TC 's side bench. Everybody's MILES were in the back. 2-3 days later I get handed my MILES but not the halo (which is part that goes on my ACH) then...
