It seems like the SSG rank isn’t respected as much as it used to be. At my base, I’m seeing signs and rules like “If you are SSG or below, you can’t do this/that” or “If you are a SSG and below you need a senior NCO with you to go to sick call etc.” Its almost like the newer generation isn’t getting the privilege of trust like the older generation had. I even remember seeing SGTs being entrusted...
