At first it was cool, i showed up to my unit and felt like i joined a brotherhood. Things change over time, but i look around me and all i see is the circus everyone talks about. I cant take some of these guys seriously anymore, who they are and who they try to be dont match- if that makes any sense. I see a lot of two faced people who could definitely get reported on things they say, only to go and quiz guys on the army values lol

They say you should be the change you want to see, except i never see that happening. The army is full of backwards thinkers in my opinion. I’m getting out in 3 months so i guess its not really that big of a deal to me, but lately I’ve been thinking about just how much i hate this place. Ive met really good people so this is not to say its everyone but the bad outweighs the good when you work with them everyday. In my eyes, not many people are “real”. I dont even know what im trying to say anymore, cant wait to start my csp and be with my wife and kids on a predictable schedule.
