To SMA PAO

Having been on this forum for some time I have witnessed several solders going through tough times. Whether that was soldiers talking about offing themselves or massive pay issues, many situations showed signs of an inept or corrupt leadership neglecting their SMs.
I fully understand the need for NCOs and Officers at the lowest level to figure out situations. Surely, in the past the soldiers on this forum were directed to the proper channels by others on this forum. When major issues pop up though, like where entire battalions go without pay, someone at a higher level should be notified.
The best leaders I have met jumped in the foxhole and helped to dig it, filled sand bags, or slung up cargo nets of explosives. The finest leaders show an example of what a fine leader is. Neglecting to do that on here is a massive missed opportunity.
The best leaders pull threads to understand what is causing problems at the lowest level, because we all know, the report the PSG or LT gives after the patrol looks completely different when it reaches even two levels higher. Being able to quickly identify a problem leverages the biggest strengths we have, being more individualistic and free than our enemies we voice our opinions. Force structure changes or corrections can be made real time where bottom up or top down changes can make real quality of life changes. Changes that make this organization stronger.
I’m not saying good leadership reads every comment on here. It would be my hope that the top enlisted leaders take notice when major disruptions in our ranks happen.
