The heat thing...

I hate using the Army/Military card here but I would rather go to some jails then go back to Kuwait. We were only going through Kuwait to get to Iraq, but Kuwait is like this ALL the time. I remember getting off the plane at like 22-2300 (10-11pm) their time and it felt like 50 hairdryers in my face all at once. It got hot in Afghanistan sure, and Iraq sure, but Kuwait is on a whole new level of suckfest.
Then on top of that, our command decided it would be a great fucking idea to test every single weapon we had in our unit out in the middle of nowhere desert. This was 10th Mountain Division (Fort Drum, Up-Upstate New York), we "mostly" trained in the freezing ass cold. We had like 16 medevacs from heat related shit and just barely even got there! It was crazy. Not only that, the buses we were all in kept getting stuck in the sand, so everyone had to get out and literally start pushing a fucking bus in the middle of the desert out of sand.
It reminds me of that guy that yelled about world hunger being solved because people were living in the desert.
