BLUF: BN CSM recommended MSM downgrade in IPPS-A, approval chain stopped and new award chain started as ARCOM with old chain sitting dead in system.

So if I'm going to leave my disappointment of my CSM out of this, the real problem is that now that I'm arrived at my new unit and my old unit can't fix this in the system. Whether or not my actions merit an MSM is besides the point now. The regulation was not followed as CSM is not the final approval authority. The award should have been routed up to to proper person and downgrade by them. Instead it looks like my BN stopped the process and started over and very quickly approved an ARCOM.

My question to all of you is should I contact IG or leave it at maybe an ARCOM is what I earned?
