MHS genesis in my opinion is filtering out the riffraff and people who would end up ETS’ing anyway on 100% disability after serving a few years of service.

MHS genesis is beneficial for lower enlisted by shrinking the recruiting pool which in turn creates panic for the upper brass. The worst it gets for them, the better it gets for us.

Look at how many changes there have been for enlisted since MHS genesis. We are exempted from Height weight if you score 540 on ACFT, we finally got a new height weight test, new counseling form, paternity leave that’s 12 weeks for parents.

If this trend continues, we might get beards (and fingers crossed pot). It’s not all bad, look on the bright side.
