Ive been missing my front tooth now for over 1.5 years. Ive been relentlessly trying for the past year to get an implant. I will admit, I am human. Ive lost 2 of the given prosthetic teeth that have been given to me in the last 1.5 years. Ive been in contact with the brigade dentist but it seems like my asking for updates got annoying 🤷‍♂️ I may have expressed my frustration at having to take my teeth out for all 3 meals, night, day, whatever, at one of my appointments. Thats the only time I can think I was ever "rude" to one of the dental assistants.

Anyways, I have been struggling with this since I cannot eat properly since my remaining front tooth is also completely broken in my upper gum line. There is not frontal biting for me when eating. Its a problem, been that way for 1.5 years now. When I recently asked for an update the bde dentist basically told me wait, again, or else my case will be dropped since ive been rude and am pissing off the LTC and COL who apparently do implants.

Had never heard of them until a couple months ago either. Also told im not the only one who needs implants. As a good soldier I am, I know whats going on. Ive been neglected for so long they need an out as to why I was put on the back burner, per the usually army health care standard. So, I said roger, offered to apologize in person as well. I told my commander who instructed me to speak with BC as well. My problem is, im feeling like a confrontation is about to occur once I bring BC into it, and that last text the bde dentist sent me was a "pipe down keep quiet" type of deal. Im very confident in what I want to say because if me being one of the only soldier ive seen with no front tooth and complaining was a problem, they sjojld have refered me off post.

Question is: What can I do? At this point the plan is talk with BC, lay out my case, accept their allegations I was rude, offer sincere apology, go to behavioral health for mental aspect of having to talk to everyone with a large front gap, then to sick call for eating disorder, and finally ICE and IG complaint. I habe nothing to hide either, if I was rude to a dental assistant id gladly apologize, but now im getting threatened to have the case that definitely wouldnt have took much work, its one tooth, dropped... now im bitter and wanting the solution immediately. Done waiting. Ill only be responding to those that wanna help.
