Epilepsy in the army
Posted on
I was attending BLC in august and before 3rd day of graduating I had a seizure in the parking lot, don’t remember anything my buddy said I opened the car door and fell down making weird sounds and body was jerking and foaming in the mouth. Gain somewhat consciousness in the WMAMC. Doctors did CAT scan and found something in my lower lobe of the brain, got EEG done everything is clear. Whenever it happened I heard my dad laughing and saw I’m sitting down with them. I’m on medication and getting treatment for epilepsy tonic-clonic seizure. I was on kepra but that medication gave me panic attacks at night whenever I tried to sleep, went to my follow up with the neurologist and got meds changed to depakote. My timetable has changed I can’t sleep at night, have my follow up with PA on 31st of august. Just want to know what kind of profile should I be on and can I stay at home till this all goes away. PS I know I’m going to get kicked out
