Without revealing too much information,

I’ve been going to a school on the same post as my unit for about 2 weeks now, with the course having 3 weeks remaining.

I have been asked to return back to the unit on 6 separate occasions; some of which have been during course hours.

The cadre at the course have been getting pretty tired of this and asked me to tell my company to stop and that it’s against regulation, but didn’t cite what regulation that is.

I brought it up at my company and they took it in a very toxic direction, saying that I am now required to attend morning formations and close out formations daily (0630 and 1700 respectively). They said since my school isn’t an NCOES it doesn’t fall under the regulation. The course begins at 0830 and ends at 1600 and is in person on the opposite end of post from my units formations.

Is there any reg that can further clarify this situation? I’ve skimmed through 600-8-6 but didn’t find anything specific to my situation. I really don’t want to be caught in between two authorities telling me their info is more correct than the other.
