Saw a YouTube advertisement lol, saying veterans you can INCREASE YOUR MONTHLY food allowance through CalFresh/Veterans.
It was weirdly marketed as a program that seemed specifically for veterans receiving some exclusive benefits to begin eating cleaner for better or more fresh groceries. And, I’m not a gullible person, I thought it may had been developed in part of the Pact Act or something to...

I’m in process of trying to file again, last year I had some success in getting increases and some new acknowledgments at 0% but I feel like I should be able to claim more items. Never deployed overseas. Was assaulted (submitted photo of my face to try and get connection for my neck hit because medical focused mostly on my eye damage it seems it’s been hard to get a connection established).... |

Why would the nurse ask this?

Wife’s first visit to VA hospital after getting service connected. She’s been out since 02. Wife says nurse was aggressive and overly nosy. 1. Why did you wait so long? 2. I saw a VSO several months ago after I pushed the button to acknowledge that I was filing claims. Since then, I pretty much been doing my filing on my own. I had my exams a couple months ago and now it’s just sitting as I expected since I’ve heard they are backed up. Is there any benefit to seeing my VSO again? Are they able to somehow get my claims expedited for quicker rating results or is there...

How important is a personal statement?

I wrote personal statements for my other physical conditions but I haven’t written one for my PTSD claim yet. I don’t have a current diagnosis it hoping the scheduled C&P will fulfill that criteria. I feel like it will be extremely difficult to write a concise description and don’t feel up to hashing through it all trying to get it down on paper and don’t want to try to diagnose myself.
