I'm an AGR Soldier in the Guard with 17 years active service, is there a "safe" zone where I can stop timing my hearing test, or go to a mental health provider for my PTSD without worrying about being kicked out before I can retire? I've heard people talk about "sanctuary" but I've always thought it was a myth. I once went to marriage counseling for a few sessions and my command got a letter stating I needed a MEB. Ever since that scare I've kept everything to myself, even having surgery on leave so I wouldn't have to have convalescent leave.
