I am a veteran who is s/c 100% P&T for BiPolar1, 40% Back, 20% SI and Tinnitus. I was 90% two and half years ago before the VA sent me a notice for an RFE exam for my bipolar. About 4 months after the exam I received the decision from the Va which showed they increased me from 90% to 100% for my bipolar and permanent and total. Long story short they also gave me smc homebound, which I did not apply for, and I am wanting to know if trying to work or volunteer somewhere would put my benefits at risk. Im in therapy and in speaking with her she felt I should try and get out a little so I wanted to at least try but didnt want that to be held against me. Any help would be appreciated.
