Recently awarded 100% P&T and am currently unable to work until January due to service connected surgery. Even then, I may not be able to go back full time, or will have to take a significant salary reduction to work in a different position. My payments were due to start back up Oct 1st and they were going to be almost $500 a month. Seeing almost 60K of student loan debt (that I absolutely would have paid and wouldn’t be a problem if my disability wasn’t limiting my ability to work at the level of skill I have and therefore limiting my income potential) erased has lifted a huuuuuuge weight off my shoulders.
