I had been having pain in chest/nipples and a few other symptoms caused by excess estradiol hormones. I had a mammogram and they found early stage gynecoMastia and Pseudogynecomastia (they are different). I’ve read that since this is technically an elective surgery Tricare only covers it if the doctors think the side effects pain/psychological side effects dean it medically necessary, however I’ve read the VA will only cover it if on active duty regardless. Could someone fact check this and suggest options either before I leave AD, go on terminal, or as vet with the VA? Thanks!
