So I will try to keep it brief. I appied for TDIU back in April, (which I know is basically an Increase) and the VA somehow only processed my claim for Increase. I log into va.gov one day and notice Unemployability wasnt listed on Pending Claims so I dialed the 800#. First couple reps either couldnt find it or didnt know what to do. So, 3 VERA calls later, I get a good rep who finds that I did send in the TDIU form, got it notated, he spoke with his supervisor, said it should now get processed as TDIU but it could be a while in case the DBQs didnt cover TDIU correctly and they might have to be rewritten by C&P examiner or worst case Ill have to go back and do them again. Fine. No biggie.

Well randomly a rep from Regional Office calls me this past Friday and says that I could be rated and given TDIU but it will show up as Deferred while they finish processing my claim but I would know more in the coming 15-30 days as my claim just got to a rater.

So my question is, does this sound right or am I hearing incorrectly? Has this happened to anyone?
