I had a call with VERA to check the status of my claim. About a month back, a supplemental I’d been waiting on was finally assigned to someone to look at it, and last week I was told that it was ready for a decision. The lady I spoke with at that time said hopefully about a week since all it needed was a rater to assign a number. So I called today to check, and the guy I spoke with said it’s closer to a year because of the backlog of PACT act claims.

Any of you VBA folks wanna weigh in? Like realistically what’s the timeline once it’s ready for a decision?
