Hi all. I’ve been through the Wiki and haven’t found how I’ve slipped through the cracks. Here’s the bluf- •MEB •10% DoD/ 100% P&T VA •disability, severance pay, non combat related (enhanced)

I received a lump sum severance pay but never had to pay it back? I reached out probably 4 or 5 times to the VA in reference to this but the only thing they’ve said was “your paperwork explains it. We can’t tell you because that’s the paperwork’s job”. I’m not kidding that’s been the response. My paperwork doesn’t explain it from what I can find. I couldn’t find how I’m an exception in the wiki. Does the “enhanced” have something to do with it? Can you help me understand how I haven’t had my severance docked from my compensation? It’s kind of hanging over my head that the VA can come in anytime and take this money away, and has since I got out.
