I am wondering if I suffer from some variation of Misophonia. Worked on the flight line for about 8 years as a crew chief. Tried to wear/us single and double hearing protection when appropriate. Certain loud noises drive me nuts, like a screaming kid at a restaurant or certain construction noises. But other noises like loud cars, music or talking often doesn’t. People tapping there feet, or tapping pencil doesn’t bother me. I am still trying to piece this together. Curious if anyone else has experienced something similar after working around and being exposed to loud noises?
