I got Uc under the care of the VA shortly after EAS. Would this be something I could claim or no? There are documents that state when I was initially diagnosed, via colonoscopies. And the first GI doctor is saw wanted to do surgery immediately to remove my colon and said “there is no way you just got UC because it’s genetic,” which, in fact, it’s not.
