My father is a vet who is allegedly being exploited by someone who fraudulently procured a POA over him. I cannot afford an attorney and therefore have been exploring every possible Avenue to expose and push the bad actor out. I just found out about the VA fiduciary program and immediately applied and sent all the information they asked for. Does anyone have any experience with this that can possibly tell me if/how this may help my cause.

To add, I have filed a police report with the VA police dept at the hospital he was at, and the Inspector General has begun investigating as of a month or so ago. I also filed a claim with the Dept of Adult Protective Services but that didn’t net me any gains. I’m currently working on getting it reopened.
