Long story short, I have finally began to do something about my deteriorating mental health. The VA daignosed me with Anxiety and Depression and I have been receiving therapy through care in the community. The cause for my mental health issues stems from a physical injury I sustained during Active-Duty that has gotten worse over time and prevents me from doing the things I used to love. I submitted this secondary claim last week without a Nexus letter but with a buddy letter from my wife that is brutally honest. Does anyone have experience with successful claims like this? At this point I am counting on the C&P examiner confirming this connection when I eventually meet with them to discuss my mental health issues.
